Alexander Sixkiller is an Indigenous artist born in Tucson, Arizona in March of 2002. Alexander is a multi-media artist who specializes in graphite, ink, charcoal, and digital art. Digital art and beading have become  relatively new practices for Alexander, at the age of 19 he started using digital images when he made the decision to create his own art business during college selling his designs on stickers eventually expanding into clothes, coasters, pins, jewelry, and prints and began selling jewelry after a beading class in 2025. In all of his art, Alexander creates cultural scenes with a mix of humor and fiction, representing his Hiaki Yoeme and Tohono O’odham heritage to create and increase knowledge of his tribes’ cultures and history in a less formal and visually appealing manner.  The decision to create his own business during college proved to be a good one. During his time at Tohono O’odham Community College, Alexander was able to build a community with his peers in college and in Tucson by participating in local markets, school events, contests, and exhibitions.

In 2024, Alexander graduated from TOCC with an Associates of Arts in Tohono O’odham Studies and continued his journey with TOCC to get his Associates of Fine Arts.  In 2026, Alexander still runs his business and has had his art in four local Tucson shops, and in places as far as Australia. Alexander hopes to continue his education at the U of A so he can build up his business and art talents.
