The Spirit Of Cukson was created with the intention of increasing awareness and understanding of Indigenous culture, more specifically Tohono O'odham and Yoeme culture as stated on the home page,  but I also want to uplift young Indigenous artists by creating opportunities for financial growth. So, the Spirit Of Cukson has created a space and spotlight for young Indigenous artists to share and sell their stories on this website. 100% of their product sales go to them. Thank you.

Our first artist is Marshalle, she is a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and LGBTQ+ community who has just finished her first year in high school. Marshalle and I met when a former teacher had requested that I consider including her in a mural I was planning to do in one of the school's halls.  I am very proud of Marshalle for being able to step out of her comfort zone of creating trippy art to applying a different genre of art onto the school hall and having the dedication to consistently work on the mural throughout the many weeks. You can find the two stickers at the top in our shop
